Pruitt is seeking candidates to fill a Multi-Craft Technician role at our Fort Smith, AR facility.We are seeking an individual who will work as part of the Maintenance Department assisting in the maintenance function for the entire facility. This work may include machinery repair; HVAC; carpentry; electrical/mechanical repair; installation of new equipment; etc. Incumbent will work with 3 phase electricity, gas and electric motor controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc. Routine duties will include preventive machine maintenance; assisting in building system maintenance; problem diagnosis and repair, etc.Qualified candidates must be mechanically inclined and have a past work history that reflects dependability. Job requirements include a minimum of 5 years experience working in a maintenance capacity as well as 3 years' experience in a role that involved electrical and maintenance skills. Candidates must be able to read blue prints and those with a background in Lean Manufacturing are encouraged to apply.Successful candidates will have a strong work ethic; the ability to work without direct supervision; and must be a self-starter. The hours for this position are Monday - Thursday 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM.
