Description:
Patient Diagnoses: Renal and limb preservation patients (lower extremity), patients include ESRD, ARF, vascular procedures, CHF, diabetics, diabetic foot ulcer. Special Procedures/Unit Details: Unit is a 41-bed inpatient unit with telemetry capability with a focus on renal and limb preservation patients. Patients who receive hemodialysis will receive treatments in our hemodialysis unit. Peritoneal dialysis patients will receive treatments on the unit with initiation by the dialysis team. Our interdisciplinary team consists of hospitalist, RN navigator, RNs, NAs, receptionist, dietary, PT/OT, pharmacy. This team meets on a daily basis to ensure best care is provided for our patients. Unit Systems (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR. Requirements Minimum one year of experience. Skills: Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias. Certs: BCLS.
