About the position Grace seeks a confident and creative math teacher who loves teaching middle school students. The ideal candidate values conceptual understanding and not just procedural fluency; brings tools and strategies for differentiating instruction within the context of heterogeneous groups; and will work collaboratively to implement curriculum; is committed to addressing social justice, diversity, equity, and anti-bias education; communicates effectively with students, families, and colleagues; and takes professional growth seriously. Teaching load would include sections of seventh grade math and advisory. Other responsibilities may include lunch duty, study hall, tutorials, and other supervisory duties. Familiarity with the Illustrative Mathematics curriculum is a plus. Requirements A bachelor’s degree and teaching experience are required. Compensation This is a full-time faculty position with an expected base salary of $68,000–$155,040 commensurate with education and experience on the faculty salary scale.
