Responsibilities: Perform MRI procedures at a tech level in accordance with protocols Maintain proper quality control procedures Must have knowledge of regulatory requirements relating to MRI exams and equipment Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public Knowledge of concepts, standards, procedures, and equipment Must be able to work extended hours when necessary Pre-Certification of imaging studies with insurance companies Scheduling and completing imaging exams Coordinate with radiologist to ensure a diagnostic study Marketing to internal and external ordering providers Maintain HCE Imaging PACS system Complete service contracts with Service Vendors for maintenance of the MRI, CT, and US machines Gather information on potential upgrade quotes for machines Monitor and record vitals Perform venipunctures and process lab results Perform patient care and support activities under supervision of licensed personnel Remain flexible for cross training Occasionally take on tasks outside the normal scope of practice Observe, identify, and do what is needed to move us forward in a way that best represents who we are as an organization Other duties as needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and abide by our Organization's Values Hourly: $30.00 & up (D.O.E.) We are a fast paced environment looking for applicants capable of multi-tasking and high attention to detail. This position requires a great deal of patience and a caring heart. The ability to be thorough, courteous, and prioritize is at the top of the list for this position.
