Responsibilities: • Counsel applicants and home buyers on various loan products, buying or refinance process, prospective lenders, and lending guidelines• Research competitive mortgage rates and interest rates, and negotiate terms to find ideal mortgage product and lender for potential borrowers• Interface with mortgage professionals such as lender institution underwriters, closing agents, and the borrower’s real estate agent to ensure a smooth mortgage process• Conduct a thorough interview to determine each applicant/ potential borrower’s specific lending or refinance needs• Submit application file to lenders in order to apply on the homeowners’ behalf Qualifications: • Must possess mortgage loan origination or loan officer experience: 5 years• Advanced computer skills including MS office, and loan origination software• Possess a strong understanding of mortgage products and loan process from origination to close• A current NMLS license or National Association of Mortgage Broker licensure or certification is required • Bachelor’s degree preferred in real estate law, banking, finance, business administration, or economics Compensation: $30,000 - $150,000 based on commission plan About Company: Countrywide Capital Group, LLC ("CCG") is an investment/private equity company that specializes in building affordable housing.
