Matanuska-Susitna Borough School District Invites applications for the following position: High School Math Teachers-Pool Location: District Wide School Year: 2024/2025 Job Summary: To teach assigned Math courses in a contextual manner that is directed toward career pathways. The instructor will instruct both the required and supplementary subject matter, and create an excellent classroom environment that is conducive to learning for each individual student based on a Career Academy Model of instruction. Qualifications: Alaska Teaching Certificate-Type A and Bachelors degree. The preferred candidate will have the ability to teach topics ranging from Algebra to Calculus. A clear understanding of the Alaska State Content Standards related to Math is required, also the skills and knowledge to teach courses outside the core subject area.
