The ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials, communication skills, and relevant experience in complex multi-district matters as well as individual cases. The Mid-Senior Level Product Liability Associate Attorney will primarily handle product liability defense work, including drafting pleadings, managing discovery, conducting depositions, motion practice, and court appearances. Duties:Drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents related to product liability casesManaging all aspects of discovery, including preparing and responding to discovery requestsConducting fact, party, and expert depositionsRepresenting clients in court appearances and motion hearingsProviding legal research and analysis on complex legal issuesCommunicating effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel Requirements:Minimum of 3 years of experience as a practicing litigatorExperience with product liability defense work is preferredStrong academic credentials from an accredited law schoolAdmitted to practice law in OhioFormer trial-level clerkships are a plusA scientific background is a plusEntrepreneurial orientation is desirable Certifications:Admission to practice law in Ohio Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Additional Skills (Preferred):Experience with medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturer clientsExperience with complex multi-district mattersStrong research, writing, and communication skills Benefits:The firm offers competitive benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and professional development opportunities.
