Practice Area: Product Liability Defense, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 3 Years, A law firm in Cincinnati is seeking a Mid-Senior Level Product Liability Associate Attorney with a strong background in product liability defense work, particularly with medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturer clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in both complex multi-district matters and individual cases. The Mid-Senior Level Product Liability Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling a variety of legal tasks, including drafting pleadings, preparing and responding to discovery, conducting depositions, motion practice, and court appearances. Duties:Drafting pleadings for product liability casesPreparing and responding to discovery requestsConducting fact, party, and expert depositionsEngaging in motion practice, including drafting and arguing motionsRepresenting clients in court appearancesResearching and analyzing legal issues related to product liability defenseCommunicating with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel Requirements:Minimum of 3 years of experience as a practicing litigatorExperience with product liability defense work is preferredStrong academic credentialsExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Certifications:Admitted to practice law in Ohio Skills:Experience with drafting pleadings, conducting depositions, and motion practiceFamiliarity with product liability defense work, particularly with medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturer clientsStrong research and analytical skillsExcellent communication skills, both written and oral Additional Skills (Preferred):Former trial-level clerkship experienceScientific backgroundEntrepreneurial orientation Benefits:The firm offers a competitive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and 401k.
