The ideal candidate should have significant experience in energy project development, MA, and project finance transactions, particularly focusing on renewable power and energy transition. The Energy Project Finance Associate Attorney will work on energy project development, MA, and project finance transactions, with a focus on renewable power and energy transition. The role requires significant transactional experience and familiarity with energy regulatory matters. Duties:Draft primary deal documents, including purchase and sale agreements, investment agreements (including tax equity), financing agreements, and joint venture agreementsLead complex diligence and deal managementManage junior associates and internal specialist teamsInteract with clients and produce high-quality work productProvide legal advice on energy regulatory matters, project real property, permitting requirements, and offtake agreementsCollaborate with a team-oriented approach Requirements:4+ years of experience in the project development and finance groupAdmission to one or more State BarsSignificant experience in energy project development, MA, and project finance transactionsFamiliarity with energy regulatory mattersStrong drafting skills and attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced, busy practice environment Education:JD degree from an accredited law school Certifications:Admission to one or more State Bars Skills:Transactional experience in energy project development and financeLegal drafting and negotiation skillsProject management and team leadership abilitiesClient interaction and communication skillsUnderstanding of energy regulatory frameworks As one of the largest law firms in the U.S. with more than 40 offices, it was founded in 1967.
