Sayres is seeking an experienced Mid-Level Logistician with a current SECRET clearance, verifiable in DISS in Washington, DC. Responsibilities : Assist in the planning, execution, integration and oversight of all Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities and projects and shall provide ILS expertise to assist in developing innovative process improvements and solutions. Provide expertise in commercial ship, US Navy ship, and FMS requirements pertaining to ship supportability issues including life cycle support as they relate to DoD acquisition policies and procedures and other applicable statutory or regulatory requirements. Provide logistics, technical, and in-depth operational knowledge in MSC policies and procedures as well as FMS policies and procedures. Provide in-depth knowledge of U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) regulations, American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) rules, Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) issues or other regulatory body requirements as needed. Preferred Specialization: DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process); Military Sealift Command (MSC) ILS procedures and processes; Foreign Military Sales; Develop and present Logistics Concepts Qualifications & Clearance Requirements Minimum Skill Sets of Qualified Candidates Bachelor's degree 7+ years DoD/Navy program management, Government technical management, or Industry business management Secret Clearance verifiable in DISS/JPAS Managing diverse teams of professionals; experience communicating Logistics Concepts to Senior stakeholders Preferred Skill Sets of Qualified Candidates Bachelor's degree in logistics, engineering, or business management disciplines Project Management Professional (PMP); Product Support Management Professional +3 years 10+ years DoD/Navy acquisition program/logistics management, Government technical management, or Industry business management The position description is only meant to be a representative summary of the major responsibilities and accountabilities performed by the incumbents of this position.
