The candidate will be responsible for patent prosecution in a biotechnology practice. They must possess an advanced degree, preferably a Ph.D., in a life sciences technology area. Patent Bar membership (USPTO Registration Number) is required. Duties:Conduct patent prosecution in a biotechnology practice.Draft patent applications and responses to office actions.Analyze patentability and conduct prior art searches.Collaborate with inventors and clients on patent strategy.Assist with patent portfolio management.Provide legal advice on intellectual property matters. Requirements:Patent Bar membership (USPTO Registration Number) is required.1-5 years of patent prosecution experience in a biotechnology practice.Advanced degree, preferably a Ph.D., in a life sciences technology area. Education and Certifications:JD from an accredited law school.Patent Bar membership (USPTO Registration Number).Advanced degree, preferably a Ph.D., in a life sciences technology area. Skills:Proficiency in patent prosecution.Strong analytical and research skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Attention to detail and organizational skills.
