The role involves reviewing and negotiating subcontracts and teaming agreements and litigating bid protests at the Government Accountability Office and/or Court of Federal Claims. The ideal candidate will demonstrate high academic achievement and possess superb writing, drafting, and communication skills.Duties:Counsel clients on government contract laws and regulations.Review and negotiate subcontracts and teaming agreements.Litigate bid protests at the Government Accountability Office and/or Court of Federal Claims.Requirements:Minimum of 3+ years of government contracts experience.Experience counseling clients on government contracts, laws, and regulations.Experience reviewing and negotiating subcontracts and teaming agreements.Experience litigating bid protests at the Government Accountability Office and/or Court of Federal Claims.High level of academic achievement.Superb writing, drafting, and communication skills.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Tennessee State Bar or eligibility for admission by motion.Certification in government contracts law (preferred).Skills:Proficiency in legal research and analysis.Strong negotiation skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.The firm offers benefits such as medical, dental, life, and disability insurance, voluntary insurance including vision, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
