Job Details:Understands all client policies and procedures, conducting all firm business within those guidelinesResearches and comprehends laws, statutes, constitutions, regulations, and court rules, including industry trends, conducting all firm business within those guidelinesPrepares cases, attends court hearings, conference calls, consults with client witnesses, completes the discovery process, develops case and testimony, completes filings, motions, and submissions, and supervises paralegalManages cases by monitoring schedules, expediting requirements, obtaining and forwarding informationSupports firm and clients by initiating and maintaining open communications, keeping the firm informed of any workflow issues or policy changesMaintains cost standards by monitoring expenses and recommending cost-saving opportunitiesImproves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes, implementing changesUpdates job knowledge by participating in continuing educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizationsAccomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments Requirements:JD from an ABA school requiredAdmitted to practice in the State of CaliforniaSuperior analytical skills and strong written and oral communication skillsKnowledge of the litigation process, from suit filing through and including judgment enforcement, is a mustExperience in commercial collection law is a plusMust be located in California This law firm is located in Santa Ana, California and practices debt collection law.
