The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of experience with complex finance transactions, particularly in sponsor-backed leveraged finance. They will be responsible for playing a crucial role in deal teams, overseeing various aspects of transactions from due diligence to closing.Duties:Act as a key member of deal teams, taking on responsibility for running fundamental aspects of transactions.Conduct due diligence processes efficiently and effectively.Provide legal advice and guidance on complex finance transactions.Draft and negotiate transactional documents, including loan agreements, security agreements, and ancillary documents.Collaborate with partners, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction processes.Stay updated with relevant legal developments and regulatory changes affecting corporate finance transactions.Requirements:4-7 years of corporate law experience, focusing on complex finance transactions.Strong understanding of sponsor-backed leveraged finance.Experience representing borrowers, lenders, and/or agents in various finance transactions.Licensed to practice law in Georgia and good standing.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar of Georgia.Additional certifications or coursework in finance law or related fields are advantageous.Skills:Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong negotiation and communication abilities.Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.Proficiency in legal research and writing. This large Atlanta-based firm has well rounded and outgoing associates.
