We are hiring immediately for the New Ulm, Mankato, and Waseca areas! Who we are: Hoffmann Counseling Services of St Peter, New Ulm, Mankato, and Waseca is a branch of Leo A. Hoffmann Center. Hoffmann Counseling Services provides outpatient therapy & rehabilitative services to all ages. We know the team approach and collaboration are key when it comes to the success of people we serve. Competitive paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays Workplace flexibility Competitive pay What we're looking for: Hoffmann Counseling Services of New Ulm, Mankato, and Waseca is seeking full time Mental Health Practitioners. Our Children's Therapeutic Services and Supports (CTSS) program and Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health (ARMS) program provide community based rehabilitative services to children, adolescents, adults, and families impacted by mental illness. Our Mental Health Practitioners provide individual and family skills training under the direction of a Qualified Mental Health Professional. Qualified candidates will be able to provide services to children and families in the home and community settings, and work independently and engage effectively with children with mental illness. Work somewhere you can make a difference! Starting Pay: $18.41/hr $500 Sign on Bonus!! Responsibilities: Provide skills training, assessment and monitoring in the areas identified in the individual's Diagnostic Assessment. Provide services in the recipient's home, community or office. Maintain records of progress for each face-to-face meeting and telephone contacts with clients and their supports. Schedule appointments and see the client to give requested services for the amount of time and frequency agreed upon by the treatment team. Coordinate and cooperate with other agency and community providers to provide the best possible care for the client ensuring necessary releases of information are completed. Monitor client progress and with the clinical team, create and modify the treatment plan as appropriate. Complete timely and professionally written reports. Actively participate in the supervisory process. Qualifications: Mental health practitioners providing services for the treatment of mental illness, who are not eligible for enrollment, must be under clinical supervision of a mental health professional and must be qualified in at least one of the following five ways: Holds a bachelor's degree in a behavioral science or a related field, from an accredited college or university and meets either a or b: Has at least 2,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of mental health services to recipients with mental illness Is fluent in a non-English language of a cultural group to which at least 50% of the practitioners recipients belong, completes 40 hours of training in the delivery of services to recipients with mental illness, and receives clinical supervision from a mental health professional at least once a week until the requirements of 2,000 hours of supervised experience are met Has at least 6,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of mental health services to recipients with mental illness. Hours worked as a mental health behavioral aide I or II under Children's Therapeutic Services and Supports (CTSS) may be included in the 6,000 hours of experience for child recipients. Is a graduate student in one of the mental health professional disciplines and an accredited college or university formally assigns the student to an agency or facility for clinical training Holds a masters or other graduate degree in one of the mental health professional disciplines from an accredited college or university Is a tribally certified mental health practitioner who is serving a federally recognized Indian tribe Job Posted by ApplicantPro
