The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. Position Overview The incumbent will report to the Program Manager of the Youth Addictions Centralized Intake. Responsibilities include : providing information, navigation of services, telephone and/or in-person screening backssment/and recommendations, case consultation and referral related to addiction and mental health concerns for youth and families. Clinicians assist and support parents and caregivers regarding the Youth Drug Stabilization (Support for Parents) Act. Youth Addictions Centralized Intake is the entry point for youth drug stabilization services in Manitoba. The clinician is also responsible for liaising with provincial and local addictions services, the stabilization facility designated under the Youth Drug Stabilization Act, the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services and the community, regarding disposition of referrals. Youth Addictions Centralized Intake is a Jordan’s Principle specialized service provider. Experience 3 – 5 years experience working with adolescents and families in the area of addictions. Experience in the intake process will be considered an asset. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Graduate from an approved program in Psychiatric Nursing or Nursing,.
