Position: -Men's RISE Mental Health Team Lead Job Type: Full-time Compensation: $77,580 - 86,580 per year Minimum Salary: $65,000 start with master's degree + $3,000 for Clinical License (LPC/LCSW) + $6,000 for LAC (split $3,000 for CAS/CAT and $3,000 LAC if obtained at different times). - Max Salary: $74,000 Benefits: 403(b) Dental Insurance Employee assistance program Flexible spending account Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person Job Description: -A trauma therapist conducts trauma education groups, basic intakes, comprehensive intakes (biopsychosocial assessments), and trauma assessments in a recovery unit (Recovery in a Secure Environment), and transition planning (clinical case management) in Denver County Jail.--- The therapist is knowledgeable in trauma recovery and the many avenues of healing from trauma and substance use disorder.--- The therapist utilizes participant-centered, trauma-informed, harm reduction, and strengths-based approaches to empower men incarcerated in Denver County Jail to seek liberation and reduce recidivism. -This position will also provide on-site clinical supervision to other counselors-in-training within the RISE program. Empowerment Administrative Supervision provided by the Deputy Director. External Clinical Supervision is required to maintain licensure. RISE professionals are responsible for: - Understanding and implementing the RISE Scope of Work and completing all required documentation in alignment with the contract requirements - Facilitating and co-facilitating groups addressing trauma and substance use disorder with men incarcerated in Denver County Jail - - Creating participant-driven treatment and transition plans in efforts to reduce recidivism and follow potential supervision requirements post-release - - Providing brief therapy, care management, and transition planning services for men incarcerated in the Denver County Jail - Administering informed consent forms, disclosure statements, and assessments - Entering data in compliance with JBBS and OBH standards - Identifying and connecting participants with appropriate referrals to community mental health and supportive services providers - Understanding and implementing culturally responsive, gender-responsive, and trauma-informed care - Other Responsibilities Include: - Attending all required meetings - Obtaining all necessary and required supervision and training - - Maintaining Self-Care - This position is located full-time in the Jail environment. - Provide on-site clinical support and supervision to counselors-in-training working in the RISE program. Provide leadership in daily program and milieu management of the RISE units. Maintain accurate and timely clinical records consistent with BHA standards in all areas including, but not limited to: counselor admit notes, assessments, daily charting, weekly clinical staffing notes, and discharge summaries. Monitoring daily activities in both jail and community-based re-entry services Support & facilitate team meetings with direction from the Deputy Director. Participate in regular stakeholder meetings of key partners related to progress and implementation of grants Ensure consistency in filing of paperwork across all platforms, including support with grant reports. Spot-check clinical documentation for accuracy and completion - Other duties as assigned - Qualifications: - Must be able to provide proof of Master's level degree and -current DORA licensure (LPC, LCSW, or -LAC) - Bi-lingual preferred Experience Preferred: Minimum of four years' experience in clinical work. Experience working with mental health and substance use participants and/or individuals involved with the judicial system, specifically high-risk, high-need adults on probation or parole. Experience working in a secure facility preferred.
