RN Med Surg - Richmond, VA Salary: $31.55 - $45.07 per hour, based on experience and degree level. Sign-on Bonus: $10K (with 1-year RN experience). Relocation Bonus: $10K. Position Type : Full-Time Position Title : RN Med Surg Location : Medical Center, Richmond, VA Program Overview :Join our esteemed medical center, a 300-bed acute care hospital, Level III Trauma Center, and Comprehensive Stroke Center. We are known for clinical excellence, specialty care, and are home to the award-winning Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute and Neuroscience & Gamma Knife Center. Job Summary and Qualifications :We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN for our 30-bed surgical care unit. In this role, you will provide exceptional patient care to those recovering from various surgical and post-surgical conditions. Responsibilities : Deliver patient-centered nursing care and participate in patient and family education. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement care plans. Use computerized documentation systems to monitor and record patient conditions. Coordinate patient discharge planning with the healthcare team. Maintain cultural and diversity awareness when interacting with patients, visitors, and co-workers. Qualifications : Education : Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred). License/Certification : Current RN license in the state of Virginia or Multistate Compact License. Current BLS or BCLS Certification. Experience : Preferably 1 year of med-surg experience in an acute care setting. Acceptable experience includes long-term acute care or skilled nursing. Must have at least 1 year of RN experience. Additional Information : Shifts: 6 Full-Time Day and Night Shifts Available (7-7). Salary: $31.55 - $45.07 per hour, based on experience and degree level.
