Primary Responsibilities: Medication Technician 7AM - 3PM Supports our assisted living residents by providing companionship, supportive listening and activities of daily living, i.e. bathing, dressing, feeding, etc. Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress Assures medication management program is provided in an accurate, professional, and effective way according to The Blake standards and state regulations Must understand and be able to provide explanation about the medication dosage/pharmacology when needed Distribute prescribed medications to residents and maintain related medical records Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy Education/Experience/ Licensure/Certification: Medication Technician 7AM - 3PM Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others High School Diploma/GED Equivalent Current Medication Technician License CPR/First Aid, preferred Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays Experience working with older adults preferred Ability to bend, stoop, carry, and lift light to moderate items Must be able to assist with mobility support and transfer assistance Compassion, positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a team player Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities If this sounds like an opportunity for you, we would love to meet you!
