Job Title: Registered Nurse, Med/Surg Location: Augusta, GA 30909 Shift: Full-Time, Days and Nights - Weekend Rotation Salary: $59,072-$88,608/year based on experience We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med/Surg team in Augusta, GA. As a Med/Surg RN, you will collaborate with patients, their families, and the healthcare team to assess, evaluate, plan, implement, and coordinate a treatment plan to achieve optimal patient outcomes. This is a full-time position with day and night shifts, including weekend rotations. Responsibilities: Maintain overall accountability and responsibility for assigned patients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Manage the efficient flow of patient care, including screening, exam preparation, providing general nursing care and comfort, and coordinating admissions, testing, and discharges. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including posting test and examination results. Administer medications as prescribed by physicians. Instruct patients and their families regarding medications and treatment plans. Respond to and refer incoming telephone calls, including phone triage when necessary. Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing. An associate degree in nursing or higher is required. Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state where you practice, and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license. Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification is required. This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state, and/or federal laws or regulations, unless a medical or religious exemption is approved. Relocation: We offer a relocation assistance package of $5,000 for candidates relocating over 250 miles and $2,500 for candidates relocating over 50 miles. Sign-On Bonus: We are offering a sign-on bonus of $15,000 to qualified candidates.
