Work Location: Bradenton, FL As part of this role, you will: Protect and update medical records and other health information Release, request, transfer, and purge health information per state and federal regulations File and scan clinical documentation records (loose or routed) into the electronic health record What you need to bring to this role: High School Diploma or GED required (Associate's degree in Health Information Management (HIM) preferred) 1+ years' experience related to health information management required (2+ preferred) 2+ years' clerical experience required ( healthcare setting preferred) 1+ years' experience with basic medical terminology & data entry required Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus Excellent listening and interpersonal skills Ability to effectively interact with patients/customers in stressful situations Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion Detail oriented with an organized mind-set Must be flexible, resourceful, and able to troubleshoot Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and set priorities A positive can-do attitude **MCR Health is a drug free workplace.
