Full-Time Salary: TBD Benefits Health InsurancePaid Time Off401(k)Vision & Dental offered Full Job Description Medical Receptionist are responsible for greeting and engaging with patients and visitors whether in person or by the phone, provides a wide array of administrative support for the clinical staff. Optimizing provider schedules and patient satisfaction with efficient scheduling. Maintaining and organizing patient demographic information and insurance verification. Collection and processing of copays and patient balances. Ensuring availability of treatment information by retrieving and updating patient records. Essential Functions of the Role: Ability to answer multiple phone lines in a professional and courteous mannerThe ability to schedule appointments.Computer skills are also required to search for and obtain all necessary insurance information from various websites.The ability to multi-task and work efficiently and independentlyGreeting patients professionally both in person and on the phoneNotifying clinical staff of patient arrivals.Maintain business inventory such as checking supplies, scheduling equipment, maintenance repairs. Key Success Factors: Knowledge of medical terminology.Ability to take instruction from providers/clinical/nursing staff/ administration.High attention to detail.Performs add duties within HIPAA Regulations.Liaise between medical departments with discretion and professionalism. Maintain confidentiality of all doctor, staff, and patient information. Requirements: Experience: +1 yr or more in a clinical office o Customer Serviceo Interpersonal skillso Technical skills- must be familiar with working with Electronic Health Records software.
