Health CARE Express is looking for a Regional Medical Director!! This position will be the Medical Director over our Longview, Marshall, and Mt. Pleasant, TX regions. Physicians looking for a position in an urgent care setting that is fast paced with diverse exposure, we encourage you to apply. Accepting applications for Full Time. 2 years of urgent care, family practice, or emergency room experience preferred. Must be a medical doctor. Responsibilities: Examine patients to obtain information about their physical condition Prescribe medical treatment and clinical drugs to patients Maintain confidentiality of all patient information according to federal guidelines and regulations Administer or order diagnostic tests Interpret diagnostic test results for deviations from normal Lift, position, push, and/or transfer patients Perform procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and infection management Instruct and counsel patients about health maintenance Documenting/recording patient information into the computer system Treat all patients and team members courteously and respectfully Follow safety principles at all times Supervise subordinate medical staff in the absence of the Director of Nursing Supervise regional NPs/PAs Remain flexible for cross training Occasionally take on tasks outside the normal scope of practice Observe, identify, and do what is needed to move us forward in a way that best represents who we are as an organization Other duties as needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and abide by our Organization's Values Full Time Salary: $200K - $250K (D.O.E.) 12 hour shifts Benefits Available - Health Insurance, Dental, Vision, Life, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, Accident, Cancer, & Bereavement Leave Health CARE Express , founded in 2006, currently employs roughly 400 employees across TX, AR, OK, & LA.
