MEDICAL DELIVERY DRIVER Location : Raleigh, NC Job Type : Independent Contractor/ 1099 with WEEKLY PAY! Pay : 85 cents per mile with a minimum of 17 miles per delivery. MUST provide own cargo van! Paid training for 1 to 2 weeks with lead drivers and dispatchers. A full-service logistics company that focuses on providing fast, efficient, and cost-saving services throughout all areas of the healthcare Industry, is seeking to hire a full-time INDEPENDENT CONTRACT DRIVER to deliver medical equipment to hospitals and surgery centers across Raleigh and surrounding areas. This position requires an individual who is a critical thinker and attentive to detail. This position offers good earning potential for a reliable, dedicated driver. Special consideration given to those who can provide their own cargo van for this job. *Pay is also higher for those who drive their own vehicle. Requirements : Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Must be attentive to detail. Must possess a hand truck. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. 4% deduction for cargo insurance. Must be professional in all communication with our clients. Reside in Raleigh or surrounding area. Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record. Reliable smartphone (communication in this position is paramount) High school education preferred. Some facilities require COVID-19 vaccine.
