NOT REMOTE POSITIONVascular Centers of America is seeking a Medical Billing specialist, detail oriented, and able to take initiative. The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following qualifications and skills: Capable of performing all aspects of medical billing, including but not limited to charge entry, posting insurance payments, rejections, follow up. Monitor aging to ensure timely follow-up of claims resolution, reduction of future denials, ensuring accurate payment and escalation of issues to management as identified. Must have specific knowledge of diagnostic and procedural terminology. Conduct insurance re-verification as needed through various tools and initiate billings to a new payer or reprocess the claim accordingly, or bill patient. Research payer guidelines and write and submit appeals as appropriate. Manage Collections Required Skills and Experience: Billing Claims appeal and resolution experience. Payment posting and accounts receivable knowledge.
