A Day in the Life of a Certified Medical Assistant As a medical assistant, you play an exceptional role in assisting our medical practitioners with delivering direct patient care. Your primary duties are clinical/back end in nature, where you will obtain vital signs, perform phlebotomy, administer injections, and document details of interactions with patients. You also p repare exam rooms for and assists practitioners with examinations, procedures, and treatments. You will occasionally assist with various aesthetic treatments. You maintain professionalism with all patients, vendors, and colleagues as well as comply with all relevant HIPAA laws. Always friendly and professional, you are a great addition to our team, and enjoy using your excellent patient care skills to do important work that you find satisfying! Qualifications for a Certified Medical Assistant Experience working as a medical assistant Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, NCMA, or CCMA) required Experience with phlebotomy required Excellent emotional maturity and patient care skills Being bilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred but other languages are helpful as well. Some interest in or knowledge of the anti-aging field would be a plus. Do you have excellent verbal and written communication skills? Do you have experience working with electronic medical records? Do you work well both independently and as part of a team? Are you able to quickly learn new skills? Do you enjoy helping others? If so, you might just be perfect for this medical assistant position! Work Schedule for a Certified Medical Assistant This full-time medical assistant position works 40 hours per work .
