Multi-specialty Surgery Center is looking for an experienced Medical Assistant. Qualified applicants should have at least 2 years experience working as a Medical Assistant. Candidates with supervisory experience are preferred. Duties and Expectations: Scheduling appointments for patients; Preparing charts; Rooming patients; Managing recovery room turnover; Escorting patients to procedure; Calling in prescriptions as directed; Assisting Nurses in patient care; EKGs; Stocking examination rooms; Knowledge of medical terminology; Fielding multiple phone lines; General office and administrative duties; Professional appearance and demeanor; Required Qualifications: 2+ years of medical office experience, preferably surgical; Medical Assistant Certification; This is a full time position.
