Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Mon – Fridays - Days - FMCG Newton Abbot Up to £40,000 DOE My client is a well-established manufacturing company who look after their staff and as such opportunities to work for them are very rare. They now require an additional maintenance engineer to join their existing team. You will be reporting in to the Engineering manager within a team of 6 engineers. The Shifts are 8 hr shifts: Mon – Friday:5:30am – 1pm OR10am – 6pm There is also OT available. As a maintenance engineer for this client, you will be responsible and experienced in the following; Preventative and reactive maintenance of production machinery Fault finding, diagnostics and repair. Ensuring that all machinery required for the weekly production schedule is operational and Look at areas of maximum downtime and take action to reduce these areas to agreed levels. To ensure that the correct hygiene and housekeeping practices are in place to satisfy all legal and customer requirements. Be available for Call out every 1 in 6 weeks. Maintenance Engineer Key Skills; - A mechanical engineering qualification -Or an electrical qualification would be helpful although not essential - Experienced in routine & reactive maintenance - FMCG Experience Salary and Benefits Between £36 – 40,000 DOEExcellent Benefits OT paid at Double Time This role would suit a candidate who is seeking a role similar to a Manufacturing Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Multi Skilled Engineer, Production Engineer, Engineering Craftsperson, MS Engineer or a Shift Engineer If you are an experienced engineer, then apply now.
