Position Overview Manage crews and the construction, assembly, maintenance, and dismantling of tubular and system scaffolding or other temporary structures. Manage the completion of application of various types of mechanical insulation and metal. Candidate must have strong communication skills as they will be communicating and coordinating via phone, field and email with the clients to make sure all needs are being met. Local position. Candidate is required to provide proof of completed OSHA 30 within 60 days of original hire date. Position Expectations and Duties: •Responsible for creating and tracking all scaffold tickets built on site as well as turning in timesheets and ensuring correct material for build is available. •Ensure builds are within OSHA standards •Candidate must be capable of meeting hth Competent Scaffold training requirements. •Must have the leadership ability to problem solve and drive team towards completing tasks while progressively planning ahead for the next job. •Promotes safe workplace by participating in safety training, identifying job hazards, wearing correct PPE, and observing for oneself and others. •Shows up on time and ready to complete work. •Follows directions of manager / lead / superintendent and clarifies responsibilities if needed. •Respects self, co-workers, managers, company, other contractors, and clients. •Takes care of company owned or rented equipment returning in like manor. •Adapt in methods used to complete task. •General mechanical ability, and general knowledge of hand/power tools •Willing to go the extra mile for the team. •Motivated to learn new skills and trades. •Ability to perform work at above ground elevations while wearing a harness and other protective equipment •Ability to work in confined spaces •Work outside in various weather conditions •Ability to layout and execute complex builds. •Coordinate labor to work effectively on the build. •Strong math skills in relation to basic, algebra, and geometry. •Good hand eye coordination. •Keeps track of up-down tickets, man-hours, and productivity. •Manages client and is able to communicate effectively with them. •Understands schedule and % complete of task. •Manages crew and personalities of team to ensure success. •Ability to perform physically demanding work for 8+ hours a day -Climb ladders -Bending, twisting, lifting up to 50lbs -Prolonged standing, walking •Must be able to fulfill essential job function in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner. •Additional duties as assigned Benefits: Employer Supplemented Heath Insurance Employer Paid Life Insurance Voluntary Vision Voluntary Dental Voluntary Critical Illness and Group Injury Insurance 401K (Company Match of 3%) Tuition Reimbursement
