This position is an office-based position working in a team environment located in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. This role is located at PACCAR Winch headquarters in the Tulsa, OK area and offers professional development and access to global opportunities in a challenging, high-performance environment where you’ll be able to achieve a rewarding career that reflects your individual talents and aspirations. Essential Functions / Responsibilities : Develop the design of major hydraulic components for complete projects of varying magnitude and scope. Maintain test specification database including winch hydraulic parameters for end-of-line test stands in both Broken Arrow and Okmulgee production facilities. Coordinate and complete projects and design efforts with other groups and departments within the company. Direct and conduct necessary research incidental to design, and apply engineering techniques gained through study or experience, frequently requiring independent evaluation. Collaborate with external customers to verify hydraulic integration and function of winch product meets expectations. Complete design projects and manufacturing process changes from planning, calculation, and design analysis, design, testing, evaluation and implementation necessary for successful project completion. Identify, prioritize, and coordinate resolution of production, production control, and Quality Assurance issues as appropriate, including support of material sourcing plans with purchasing to support production needs. Develop, maintain, and present project metrics such as cost, performance, and milestones/timelines as directed. Utilize Creo and Windchill as the CAD and data management system. Utilize and maintain Six Sigma, DFSS and Lean tools throughout the design and validation process. May lead engineering resources personnel. Occasional travel is required. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related degree. Pay grade level and compensation dependent on level of experience and education.
