AKSA Power Generation, USA is looking to add qualified Mechanical Engineers to our existing team located in the Conroe/Willis, Texas area. If you meet the requirements apply today for this amazing opportunity. Job responsibilities: Perform application review testing of engine products, collecting necessary data and ensuring compliance with engine manufacturer performance standards. Experience working with diesel and gas engines, engine performance development, or engine application interaction. Develop bills of materials (BOMs), and other technical information as part of the product development process. Establish specifications and criteria for purchased components to facilitate the procurement process, including review of periodic substitution and/or alternative sourcing requests. Provide support to the production and quality teams during the manufacturing and testing processes. Provide timely and effective customer technical support and process. Identify root cause and corrective action(s) for design-related engine/product performance issues. Define product test requirements and support testing and validation activities. Ability to read schematics and drawings. Knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems. Ability to work hands-on (independently and as part of the team) to discover and implement solutions. Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Provide support to Engineering, Manufacturing, & Sales as required. Liaise with clients and suppliers as required – good communications are essential. Requirements:• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent area of study• Three years of experience in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Technology• Generator Experience a PLUS, not required• Manufacturing experience a PLUS not required Software Experience• Microsoft Office • Local ERP-CRM Applications • AutoCAD Travel 10% Traveling possible Powered by JazzHR
