Mack Studios, Inc., located in Auburn, NY, is currently seeking a full time Mechanical Engineer who will be responsible for the organization, oversight and effective performance of the ME Department by overseeing the overall project development process. Responsibilities Read and review BOM from design engineering drawing including time per operation and correct operation in EPICOR (ERP) Perform drawing reviews and complete Rev updates in EPICOR prior to release to production floor; update books on production floor Program CNC's (ie., Lasers, Press brake, Auto Finishers, Auto Sanders using MasterCAM, RouterCIM, or InventorCam) Create, update and educate staff on Engineering SOP's Seek opportunities to continuously improve processes and educate staff on industry standards. Oversee the installation and operation of various mechanical systems Skills/Abilities/Education Strong analytical problem solving and critical thinking skills Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Ability to function in a high paced, dynamic environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to professionally and effectively communicate with internal and external customers. Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate appropriately; Promote and foster a health work environment and culture Minimum of 4 years of previous experience in mechanical engineering or other related fields Familiarity with manufacturing designs or schematics ERP Parts Processing Prior experience leading a successful team to meet deadlines and expectations. Experience utilizing Microsoft office suite, ideal experience includes CADLink/MasterCam Minimal education includes Associates degree in Mechanical Engineering. Job Posted by ApplicantPro
