To hear more, be sure to check out our employee reviews on Glassdoor A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MECHANIC As a Mechanic you will be a team member diagnosing defects through operation and inspection of heavy equipment. Completing general maintenance tasks necessary to such as routine preventative maintenance work on equipment, keeping up to date service records, and utilizing your basic mechanical knowledge for any other issues. Each day includes evaluation of equipment, repairing as necessary, and troubleshooting when needed. As a result-oriented team member you will have the opportunity to utilize your enthusiasm to work as many hours necessary to accomplish the team's production deadlines. The basis of the trucks that you will be working on will be Ready Mix Trucks. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A MECHANIC While experienced professionals are always welcomed, we can train the right person! Do you have a strong work ethic? Are you known for going above and beyond? Do you have a winning attitude and approachable personality? Do you take pride in your work? Position requires confidence and experience in role dealing with customers on the phone and/or in person. Innovative problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational and planning skills. Ability and willingness to work as many hours as necessary to accomplish duties. Industry Working knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations MECHANIC WORK SCHEDULE This full-time position generally works Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with some flexibility, depending on projects.
