This will include ensuring optimal workflows, delivering training and ongoing quality monitoring, ensuring proper maintenance of the HDM vehicle fleet, and supporting the Nutrition Program Manager as needed. Position Responsibilities: Schedule drivers to ensure optimal workflows, including managing time off requests and securing replacements for route vacancies. Receiving and effectively managing distribution of daily food orders. Supporting drivers in effectively managing issues that may arise while they are making deliveries. Working with the Nutrition Program Manager in the design and delivery of driver training and establishing/implementing quality metrics around program performance. Help to improve communications and workflows across the various elements of the Nutrition, Phoenix Food Hub, and other agency programs. Qualifications: • Associates Degree or certification of management training, plus two (2) years of supervisory experience• Proven ability to multi-task• Excellent problem solving skills•Proven ability to communicate and deliver training effectively and to monitor job performance consistently and accurately•Detail oriented•The ability to appropriately handle confidential and personal information•Proficient computer skills•Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.•Reliable transportation and a valid driver license to make visits throughout the GLSS service area Hours Full Time 35 hours per week, 7am-2pm Monday through Friday*GLSS is an affirmative action and equal opportunity employer.
