Sacred Heart School in Southaven, MS, is looking for an experienced educator qualified to teach Mathematics (Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I) for the 2024-2025 school year. This teacher will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for 6th-through 8th-grade Math instruction.REQUIREMENTS: -BA in Math or related field. Master's preferred. -Experience with STEM curriculum. -Appropriate Math endorsements (ex: 154, 155, 163, 901) and a MS teaching license (or ability to obtain MS teaching license). -Proficiency w/instructional technologies (Google Classroom, online grade books, Smart Boards, Microsoft Office, etc.). -Excellent oral/written, interpersonal & decision-making skills. Ability to meet deadlines & handle multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision/instruction. -Must have a basic understanding & acceptance of the Catholic School philosophy, goals & objectives and be fully supportive/respectful of the mission, teachings, goals & tenets of Sacred Heart Southern Missions & the Roman Catholic Church. -Bilingual a plus/preferred.
