POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the inventory, control, and processing of non-conforming materials (NCM). Compensation: Starting pay: $18.75 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Perform NCM inventory accounting and balancing. • Thoroughly inspects and provides timely and complete information to Quality leadership to make material dispositions. • Accurately reports data into data tracking systems. • Responsible for keeping respective areas clean, cleared, and orderly. • Other duties as assigned. PHYSICAL: • Able to safely move and manipulate material for inspection and disposition. • Frequent use of cutting devices to remove material from rolls for sample collection or scrap. • Long hours standing and walking. • Required to handle and move material constantly throughout the shift. DESIRED CANDIDATE HAS: • Proficiency in desktop computing and tablet technology. Must be able to use Windows based environments (Excel, Word, Outlook - Email) and applications. • Navigation and material movement experience using SAP/SymPLE. • An ability to calculate and interpret measurements. • Knowledge of products in Films and/or Extrusion. • Experience using database systems. • Strong verbal and written skills. • Good personal time management and well organized. • Critical thinker and effective problem solver. • A desire to work without direct supervision. A self-starter and takes initiative. Can prioritize and multitask. • An ability to be flexible and thrives in rapid and changing conditions. Must be able to meet deadlines. • Forklift certification a plus.
