In this role, you will work to prepare, list and transport material to and from the Nordson East Providence, RI facility while driving company vehicles.How You Will Make an Impact: * Load and unload trucks, deliver materials to the appropriate person or location. * Effectively communicate with supervisors, managers and other personnel on transportation issues * Plan and prioritize work to complete all scheduled and non-scheduled activities in a timely manner. * Communicate inventory discrepancies to Inventory Manager * Keep inventory well organized in the designated areas by warehouse locations. * Represent EFD with local suppliers and customers in a safe, professional manner. * Maintain & operate company vehicles with the utmost care and safety. Ensure cleanliness and * Contribute to the success of team by submitting improvement ideas, identifying potential problems, providing feedback on procedure changes and by displaying a positive, cooperative attitude in working with others. * Operate material handling equipment in a safe manner. * Operate forklift, other lift trucks and shrink wrapper in accordance with safety standards. * Comply with all relevant ISO procedures.What We Offer: * Range is 19.00 - 23.00 dependent on experience. * Starting day 1, your benefits include: * Medical / Dental / Vision * Paid Time Off (including annual company shutdown between Christmas and New Year's) * Annual bonus based on personal & company performance. * 401k (with match AND additional 3% annual company contribution) * Health Savings Accounts (with employer contribution) * Tuition reimbursement * Company paid Life Insurance * Wellbeing programs to help you live a healthy happy lifestyle.Shift Available: * 1st Shift: Mon-Fri, 7:30am - 4:00pmQualifications To Be Successful: * High School diploma or equivalent * Minimum 1 year of material handling experience in a fast-paced environment, preferred. * Operating a company vehicle 50% of the time is a requirement for this role * DOT Medical Certificate (health card) required * Forklift experience is necessary * Excellent communication skills * Superior organizational skills * Basic computer skills needed to accurately enter data for inventory control * Ability to read, write & speak in English along with basic math skills (must be able to accurately count and multiply) * Attention to detail is a must * Must have the ability to be flexible with work schedule, including the ability to work overtimeTRAVEL REQUIRED: Estimated: 50% (Local travel is part of this job. Material transport is done via Nordson trucks.)Working Conditions and Physical DemandsManufacturing environment.
