The Material Handlers responsibilities include, but may not be limited to, Understand the safety of the forklift and operate without compromise to those safety systems. Operate powered industrial vehicle to load and unload materials and move them to various areas around the plant. Loading and unloading steel tubing from truck deliveries Moving steel tubing packed on pallets or in crates around the plant Understand basic material flow within the organization and support production operations. Perform daily equipment checks on designated forklift vehicle Checking to ensure loads are secure Other duties as assigned Qualifications Five years of forklift experience required Material handling and/or packaging experience required High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment Follow instructions for operating equipment Strong work ethic and reliable Fast learner and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment Self-directed individual High school diploma required Basic mathematical aptitude Positive Attitude, willingness to learn Strong mechanical abilities Job Posted by ApplicantPro
