Volt is immediately hiring a Master Machinist in San Diego, CA.Great opportunity to join a company that is a leader in their industry!As a Master Machinist you will:The Master Machinist will perform a wide range of metal fabricating activities in support of process and equipment development and maintenance, creation of product dies and tooling and prototyping.The ideal candidate will have: * Certification from a Technical College or Master level training in machining and metal fabrication * Be safety oriented, must be fluent in the safe operation of a range of machine shop equipment including 5 axis CNCs, lathes, mills, surface grinders, EDM- wire and electrode, and others * Experienced with aided design and/or engineering tools including MasterCam, SolidWorks, Enterprise PDM, DraftSight and AutoCAD. * The ability to use a variety of shop measuring tools including pin gauges, micrometers, calipers, optical comparator, etc. * Experience with GD&TPay rate range: $29/hour-$35/hour*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
