We seek a Marketing Assistant who excels at research, writing, and creative content development. This role will support the marketing, sales, and fulfillment teams. You will be tasked with helping identify marketing trends and opportunities for growth, as well as creating marketing materials such as case studies and sales resources. Practical written and verbal communication skills and a high attention to detail are crucial to success in this role. Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and can be trusted to meet the needs of our clients at every stage of their business journey. Our organization rewards team members who are self-starters and problem solvers as we're a rapidly evolving, startup-like atmosphere. Please note that the base salary range for this role is $40,000-$45,000/yr. What You’ll Do At SocialMadeSimple Collaborate with the Sales team to create unique, high-quality sales resources, including sales decks, one-page documents, e-books, etc. Work with cross-functional departments to execute and manage special projects, such as crafting case studies, project briefings, and webinar decks Assist graphic design and internal fulfillment teams to create social media content and advertisements to generate awareness, engagement, and business for SocialMadeSimple Research, write, and edit blogs for online company resource center Write and design monthly newsletters to existing SMS clients and/or potential customers We Are Looking For People Who Possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Communications, English, Marketing, or a related field 1+ years of relevant work/internship experience in the digital marketing space Exceptional written and oral communication skills with an ability to share and synthesize knowledge Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team while simultaneously managing independent workload/tasks Ability to think strategically and identify and resolve problems Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to balance multiple and competing priorities Additionally, it’s helpful, but not required , if you have: Experience in SEO, WordPress, paid advertisement management, graphic design (Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.), video editing, or email marketing About SocialMadeSimple SocialMadeSimple is a technology-powered social media marketing company serving single-location and franchise brands of all kinds.
