Project Overview: Port Arthur LNG, LLC (PALNG) is developing a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production and export facility on a site located on the western shoreline of the Port Arthur Canal in Jefferson County, Texas. The project base scope will include two (2) identical LNG trains, two (2) LNG Storage Tanks, one (1) LNG Carrier Berth, and associated utilities/facilities. The Project is to be constructed on a parcel of land located along State Highway 87 south of Port Arthur, Texas, between the inner coastal waterway bridge and Keith Lake. The Infrastructure Global Business Unit (GBU) is executing site civil and marine scopes of work associated withour scopes of work on theEnergy GBU LNG projects. The candidate will act as the Marine Field Engineeron the Port ArthurLNG project. The candidate will locate on a Short:term assignment to Port Arthur, TX. As the 1 LNG EPC contractor by installed capacity, Bechtel has the capability to successfully deliver a broad range of LNG projects through our integrated EPC self:perform model, strategic partnerships, and proven experience in LNG project delivery. Partnering with Bechtel means lower cost, shorter delivery schedules, and greater certainty of outcomes for our customers. Position Summary The Marine Construction Field Engineer is responsible for managing, coordinating, and administering the project from planning through procurement, construction, and turn:over. Supervises the development schedules, manages performance, reports progress, and initiates action to assure program/project objectives and schedules are met and work is performed within budget and according to specifications. Resolves problems and coordinates the final turnover of work to downstream work activities. Has overall responsibility for scope execution, ensuring that Program/Project is delivered within contract requirements, standards of quality and safety and to Customer and Bechtel performance expectations. Responsibilities :Coordinate with engineering on constructability and design issues relating to the civil discipline such as steel erection, earthworks, piling and concrete.:Establish a civil design/field engineering working relationship and lines of communication with the Project Engineer, including agreement on civil engineering deliverables and overall construction application configuration management.:Responsible for quantity take:off, control, tracking, reporting, and forecasting for civil discipline.:Specify the civil criteria for construction of temporary construction facilities as required.Direct the preparation of requisitions for field procured materials, material substitution, services, and equipment such reinforcing steel and platework.:Approve field requisitions as del
