Nidec Press & Automation (NP&A) is seeking a Manager - Manufacturing Technology to work in our Minster, Ohio location overseeing our Manufacturing Engineering and Technology groups . Job Responsibilities: Manager - Manufacturing Technology Manage and provide leadership to a Manufacturing Engineering group in supporting Machining operations. Manage and provide leadership to a team of CNC Programmers. Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of group technology fundamentals (i.e. part families). Document and control CNC programming matrix (i.e. what package is best at which work centers). Responsible for implementing and maintaining facility routings, including appropriate and consistent set-up and run-time routings. Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of CNC program validation. Drive the implementation and maintenance of a part family review process. Lead and implement manufacturing change processes and revision controls. Provide oversight and direction with all fixtures and tooling improvements to maximize throughput. Manage and oversee perishable tooling budgets, cost controls, and continuous improvement process. Collaborate with manufacturing management on the development of cap-ex needs/plans. Drive the successful execution and implementation of cap-ex projects based on the annual cap-ex plans. Qualification: At least 10 years' experience in a discrete manufacturing machine shop. Group Technology experience - including use of ERP system/support Strong ERP experience required, SAP preferred. A bachelor's degree in engineering, and/or equivalent experience.
