We are seeking a Program Manager leading Manufacturing Operations & Business Process Implementation ready to step into a new role and make lasting impacts for an industry leader in healthcare. If you're interested in a unique opportunity to work in an optical lens manufacturing environment where you'll partner with high-level leaders to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and drive change, you'll want to read on!In this role, you'll work onsite at one of our optical laboratories in Folsom, California, Dallas, Texas, or Tampa, Florida. Travel between these locations will be required no matter the home office. Partnering with leaders across the company, you'll support initiatives that build a robust manufacturing foundation, achieving increased efficiency, higher quality products, employee engagement, and profitability. You'll put your expertise into action as you coach and inspire leadership teams to manage effectively through accountability, problem-solving, analytics, guidance, continuous improvement tools, metrics, and reporting. You must have a strong passion for creating a culture of continuous improvement and a willingness to challenge the status quo to focus on driving operational excellence.This is a dynamic role, full of opportunities to make a difference, and includes: Implementation and development of the lab management system (IOM) and other business-related projects Ensuring IOM controls, analytical decision-making, and behaviors are adopted and sustainable for the long-term Coaching all levels of lab leadership, including director to team lead to drive the adoption of behaviors supporting the lab management system. Collaborating with various business groups and aligning stakeholders on key program elements Partnering with the continuous improvement leader to cultivate a continuous-improvement mindset for the organization and support adoption in manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and eliminate waste. Managing program communications, leading resources, and seeing projects to completion Continuously engaging team members and leaders In-depth experience in the following will set you up for success: Robust knowledge of manufacturing environment, processes, and performance Strong leadership and organizational leadership skills with proven experience Dynamic in the ability to coach or mentor employees in a matrixed organizational structure. Implementation of continuous improvement systems, including metric development, reporting, and monitoring Experience executing manufacturing management systems.
