WORK ILLUSTRATION: Responsible for the day-to-day, end-to-end delivery of an outsourced portfolio of the organization’s capital, customer connection, maintenance, and externally initiated programs. This includes providing technical guidance and management of projects and programs using selected vendors through all phases of the project or program delivery to ensure on-time and on-budget completion of assigned work program in compliance with approved Toronto Hydro standards, procedures, and commitments. The incumbent is responsible for supervising a small team of professional and technical resources (internal and external) including providing coaching, feedback and mentoring on organizational processes and procedures. The incumbent is expected to behave ethically and follow the established code of business conduct, policies and internal control procedures, laws and regulations governing Toronto Hydro. Toronto Hydro has implemented a mandatory vaccination requirement for all its employees. Proof of full vaccination will be required upon receiving a conditional offer of employment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides day-to-day guidance and support to assigned vendors to ensure the work package viability (cost, customer, assets function, reliability, safety, and environment) and timely, cost-effective work completion (schedule adherence, actual vs. estimate, change order management) of assigned work programs Participates in both pre and post construction meetings (planned and actual), working closely with the assigned third-party auditor to ensure compliance with all required processes and procedures is maintained during project work Reviews assigned projects and scope packages to ensure material is current and relevant and validates the assigned contractor has the right skills and.
