Manager of Quality Masonic Villages of Pennsylvania - Elizabethtown Campus - is immediately hiring a Manager of Quality. This will be a Full Time position working Monday - Friday from 8am - 4pm. As the Manager of Quality, you will carry out our Mission of Love by directing the efforts in quality for the health care center and personal care. The Manager of Quality is responsible for the overall development, implementation and oversight of quality initiatives and data analytics including QAPI and survey readiness. Be knowledgeable in data collection, data analysis methodology, and performance improvement methods needed to support and lead QAPI. Assist teams working on QAPI efforts to identify and unintended consequences of changes that are put in place in order to avoid negative impact on overall performance. The Manager of Quality will work closely with the Director of OD&T on performance improvement projects identified in Abaqis and provide education and coaching to build the needed skills in others to lead performance improvement plans (PIPs). Our Manager of Quality is responsible for the following: Manage the Infection Control program as it relates to all aspects of Infection Control in the health care center and personal care. Directly oversee the Manager of Infection Control. Collaboration with the corporate infection preventionist position. Active member of the QAPI team based on reviewing, monitoring and analysis of data in order to determine compliance with quality and regulatory standards. Oversee and implement the 'survey readiness' process for both the health care center and personal care. Oversee projects that impact quality initiatives and survey results. Direct rounding on health care center neighborhoods and personal care levels to identify areas of opportunity and educational needs. Review and analyze the CMS Star rating for the health care center and necessary action plans to achieve the highest outcome. Review quality measures and introduce process reviews for highest quality. Collaboration with nursing departments in the health care center and personal care to develop quality audits for compliance. Serve as a resource regarding quality initiatives and regulatory aspects of healthcare. Critical knowledge of reporting systems and assists in required reporting if applicable to include, but not limited to: CMS star rating, CASPER reports, quality measures, and quality indicators, and all NHSN reporting structures. Accessible to the health care center and personal care departments in order to provide leadership and expertise in quality / data driven needs. Active member of the Eden Leadership team - Embraces and models culture change in daily roles and responsibilities. Serve as member of the Infection Control committee and the healthcare center's QAPI and coordinator of reports associated with these committees. Update the health care center's quality dashboard on a quarterly basis. Direct and assist with local health system hospital re-admission statistics for both the healthcare center and personal care. What You Have: BSN required, Master's Degree preferred Current license as LPN or RN in PA preferred, but not required. Three-five years previous long-term care leadership experience. Experience in quality management, preferred, but not required. Clinical equivalent qualifications in healthcare field. Current knowledge of state and federal regulations pertaining to long-term care facilities is required.
