About One Million Degrees: One Million Degrees accelerates community college students’ progress on career pathways to economic mobility. Over 60% of students who start community college do not complete a degree or successfully transfer to a four-year institution. However, 84% of jobs in the US require skills training beyond high school. OMD’s holistic support model is designed to support community college students as they work toward degrees and careers. From tutors and coaches to financial assistance and professional development, OMD helps community college students succeed in school, work, and life, transforming their futures and the futures of those around them for generations. The OMD student support model is rooted in evaluation and evidence: A randomized controlled trial conducted with the University of Chicago Inclusive Economy Lab shows that OMD scholars are 70% more likely to enroll, 94% more likely to persist, 73% more likely to earn a degree. Currently, OMD serves scholars in all 7 of the City Colleges of Chicago (CCC) and is scaling to reach over 3000 community college scholars by 2026 through our unique partnership with CCC. In addition to direct services, OMD partners with employers across industries to build on-ramps to in-demand jobs through internships and apprenticeships, and supports institutions nationwide to design and implement models of holistic student support. Through this growing body of work, OMD continues to have a profound impact in Chicagoland while becoming a national model for sustainable, scalable, and systemic change. Position Summary: One Million Degrees (OMD) is experiencing a tremendous growth period and we are eager to welcome new members of the team to support and champion this systems-changing work. As we are in heavy innovation and learning period with City Colleges of Chicago (CCC) we are seeking individuals who are ready to collaborate, contribute, and design toward a next level model of partnership support service. The Manager of Campuswide Program will report to the Director of Campuswide Programs and will be responsible for the oversight and maintenance of successful OMD programming at their campus site. With the strong evidence base on our Randomized Control Trial (RCT) study, it is critical that we continue to deliver our program with fidelity as we grow. The Manager of Campuswide Programs is responsible for fidelity of program implementation across their team. They will coach their team of Program Coordinators (PC) to be reliable and responsive support professionals to their scholars. They will also maintain strong awareness of data trends, collaborate with campus staff, direct campuswide scholar event programming, and support their team in engaging in new scholar recruitment & onboarding efforts, As part of the Campuswide Program Management Team, managers will also be responsible for collaborating with their peers and managing projects related to the successful execution of program initiatives on and across Campuswide Program campuses. The Manager of Campuswide Program will need to be an experienced and detail-oriented individual, who will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Staff Management, Mentorship, & Coaching Support the hiring, training and retention of a successful and engaged team. Supervise a team of up to 9 Program Coordinators. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering their professional growth and development. Foster seamless communication channels to enhance collaboration and alignment across team members. Engage in innovative and relatable coaching efforts to support Program Coordinators (PCs) in effectively connecting with their caseload. Ensure fidelity to the OMD model through regular one-on-one check, quarterly observations, and annual performance reviews. Program & Data Management Collaborate with Directors of Campuswide Programs to promote strong coordination accross multiple internal departments, ensuring effective and timely program implementation. Be the expert for team data. Manage, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and data quality. Drive insights: Collaborate with the campuswide leadership team to identify trends and create solutions for common scholar performance challenges impacting scholar retention and satisfactory academic performance. Lead quarterly team data audits to ensure accurate and timely scholar data input via OMD and CCC CRM platforms (Salesforce and EAB Navigate). Maintain data integrity and consistency to support informed decision-making. Oversee the campus scholar discretionary budget, strategically allocating resources to enhance scholar experiences and program effectiveness. Partnership Management Cultivate strong and collaborative working relationships with campus partners to ensure high-quality and responsive implementation of the One Million Degrees model and services. Coordinate with members of the leadership team and strategic partners to explore new initiatives and establish partnerships, as needed.  Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Requirements:  Qualified candidates must possess a “can-do” work ethic and mindset, strong communication skills, and must believe in the role of OMD’s holistic program model in the success of community college students. This position is ideal for a highly motivated team player who wants to play a pivotal role in staff development and program management.  Education: bachelor's degree required Experience: 4+ years of related work experience in education, teaching/coaching, or human services and 3 years of program/project management experience. Case management experience a plus 3+ years of experience managing direct reports (or in a coaching role) 3+ years of experience managing high stakes partnerships and collaborations (internal and external partners/leaders) to implement projects or programs Strong experience working across teams or organizations to create a project or program Experience planning and leading large scale event (100+ attendees), is a plus Experience managing in a unionized environment is a plus Skills: Leadership/Training: Ability to support teams toward skill development and progress toward a common goal Data: Proven ability to analyze multiple data inputs and make data-driven decisions that speak to addressing root cause. Technology: Proficient in Excel, Microsoft 365 Suite (including Teams, OneNote), Zoom, and highly proficient in in utilizing CRMs for case management (Salesforce experience preferred) Project Management: Proven success working in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing multiple workstreams in a timely manner Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; a proven ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences and the ability to give and receive candid feedback Traits: Relationship Builder: Proven record of building and maintaining strong, respectful, and collaborative working relationships Develops and Motivates Others: Motivates others and supports their development through strong coaching and mentoring Inclusive Collaboration: helps colleagues as needed, views responsibilities as shared Values diverse perspectives and seeks to learn from them. OMD pays 100% of individual’s basic monthly health premium and 80% dependent coverage.
