In this role, you will report to the Director of Talent and DEI, and will play an integral role in stewarding our Enterprise DEI strategy, helping integrate DEI into our business strategies and cultures to enable achievement of our strategic objectives. You will partner with your Talent and DEI peers, as well as with a broad network of leaders, and stakeholders across Masco's businesses, to ensure DEI is integrated and applied as a lens within all key Masco processes, decisions, teams, and ways of doing business.Learn more about our DEI story and consider joining us as we continue on our journey to make authentic, sustainable and transparent impact for all our stakeholder related to DEI: https://masco.com/diversity-inclusion/ Responsibilities: Support and coordinate efforts that help Masco deliver on its DEI goals and outcomes within our Center-led/Decentralized business model. Develop and implement high impact DE&I initiatives that can be scaled and tailored to global needs. Help continuously improve our approaches for accountability and transparency related to our progress as an enterprise, including identifying strengths and areas to improve, and recommendations for targeted ways to make progress. Serve as a DEI expert, coach and partner to the broad network of stakeholders directly involved in delivering on DEI-related initiatives, including key leaders, DEI Councils, Employee Networks and HR teams. Help shape and sustain how our business units evaluate, refresh, and execute their DEI plans and provide ongoing coaching on their approach. Support developing and implementing methods to enhance leaders' and employees' understanding of DEI and how it can enhance their day-to-day work when its intentionally applied and integrated into the culture. Develop DEI related communications for various stakeholder groups and work with internal partners (i.e., Corporate Communications, HR, and Managers) to infuse DEI into relevant organizational and culture-related communications. Oversee current and future external third-party expert DEI partnerships that help Masco Corporate and Business Units execute key initiatives, including vetting and evaluating partner effectiveness in alignment with Masco's DEI philosophy and strategy. Stay up-to-date with global diversity best practices, benchmarking our practices and identifying pragmatic ways to improve our efforts. What We're Looking For: Essential Qualifications: 3+ years building and delivering global DE&I, initiatives and practices. We recognize individuals grow into DE&I roles from many career backgrounds and are interested in diverse career experience An influencer, with strong business acumen, and expertise in solving complex problems with high user centricity Strong systems thinker, with an ability to prioritize effectively Skilled at operating in a complex, multi-unit (decentralized), cross-functional organization where you need to collaborate and integrate with other teams across many disciplines Strong interpersonal awareness and skills with emphasis on empathy, supportiveness, ability to have uncomfortable conversations, listen, and act. Possesses a keen understanding and awareness of his/her own diversity and how it impacts and influences their role Able to be both a strategist and someone who can roll up your sleeves and get work done and thrive when you are doing both Comfort with change, both experiencing and leading it; priorities shift and unanticipated things happen, your comfortable navigating through it Comfortable working in the grey. You can take something that's loosely defined, jump-in and take it to the next step Analytical and comfortable interpreting data to tell a story, make recommendations and inform action Sound judgment, high integrity and ability to maintain strict confidentiality Comfortable working remotely, or office/remote hybrid, with some inter-office travel to our business units Preferred Qualifications: Deep understanding of societal systems of bias, and ability to apply this knowledge to invent, evolve, improve, and simplify business processes Strong facilitation skills with a proven ability to facilitate difficult conversations around DEI related dimensions such as race, gender, sexual identities, as well as other experiences of injustice, inequity, and oppression.
