48147 - Regular - Representation: Management Job code: 00513672 Pay information: 17 (Operations) / LEVEL 05 Hours of work (per week): 40 hr 5dy 8hr Shift work: No Number of positions: 1 Town/City: Toronto, Ontario Department: STRT, ENGRYTRS & HR / PLANNING & KEY ACCOUNTS / DX BUS DEV General Accountabilities: · Support the Director, Distribution Asset Management in implementing the department’s goals/objectives/strategies by providing effective leadership to the department’s staff. This is generally accomplished by monitoring and analyzing Distribution Feeder, Distribution Station, Regulating Station, Metering, Distribution Telecommunications and other Distribution System Equipment. · Develop strategies and investment plans for all distribution system equipment consistent with corporate objectives and customer needs. · Develop planning methodologies to ensure safe, reliable and efficient distribution system operation. Specific Accountabilities: · Monitor all distribution system equipment capacity, condition, performance, criticality, environmental impact and operational efficiency. · Develop planning methodologies that ensure safe reliable and efficient system operation. · Develop specific programs and projects, to ensure adequacy of supply to all existing and new Hydro One Distribution connected customers (embedded utilities, end use customers, large customers and distributed generators) while meeting all regulatory requirements. · Provide long term distribution capacity needs to the transmitter and ensure transmission capacity needs and other services are delivered by the Transmitter effectively. · Develop specific programs and projects to support corporate reliability initiatives and distribution system renewal needs with a focus on modernizing the distribution system through deployment of cost-effective advanced distribution system technologies. · Complete planning studies to manage long term risks to acceptable levels. · Represent.
