Columbia Basin Trust is seeking a Manager, Commercial Business to join our talented team in our Castlegar office. This is a permanent, full-time position with a salary range of $95,200 - $111,900. The Organization The Trust is a unique Crown corporation located in the Columbia Basin region of British Columbia that supports the ideas and efforts of the people of the Basin by providing economic, environmental and social benefit to the region. The Trust currently generates over 90 million dollars in annual revenue, and invests to strengthen the region now, and for future generations. Our staff team is made up of individuals that are highly motivated, innovative and want to contribute to Basin communities. The Region The Basin is a geographic region in southeastern British Columbia with communities that offer year-round outdoor recreation, a vibrant arts and culture scene and much more. The Trust gratefully operates in the unceded, traditional territories of the Ktunaxa, Lheidli T'enneh, Secwepemc, Sinixt and Syilx Nations. This region is also home to six Metis Nation BC Chartered Communities. The Team The Trust has a small Investments & Economic Development team that covers a broad scope of work managing the organization's commercial finance activities and business investment portfolio with a goal of generating financial returns to support Basin communities. The Trust's Private Placement portfolio exceeds 200 million dollars and includes a mix of commercial real estate holdings, private debt and market securities. The Role This is a diverse role reporting to the Director, Investments & Economic Development where you will be able to build relationships while taking responsibility for the end-to-end.
