My client have an opportunity for a Management Accountant based in Salisbury. They are a fast-growing international electronics business, with offices in the UK, USA and Hong Kong, specialising in the design and manufacture of electronic products. The Management Accountant, Salisbury, role is available due to internal promotion and will have the following responsibilities: The production of timely and accurate management accounts Preparation/supervision of monthly payroll Analysis of stock valuations, provisions and transactions Preparation of year end reconciliations & reports Line management responsibility for the Assistant Accountant. Providing key finance information to members of the management team. This is a full-time office-based position that requires a solid grasp of accounting, ideally learned through years of experience and a hands-on approach. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can learn quickly and be able to work well without constant supervision within a fast-paced, ever-growing and adaptive environment. The Management Accountant, Salisbury, will have: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work well within a small team and motivate others A high level of accuracy, efficiency, accountability and attention to detail Excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities The ability to use sophisticated accounting/ERP systems plus have strong ideally advanced Excel skills for maintaining and creating reportinteractionperience of working with multi-currency accounts and/or working within a group environment would be an advantage Experience of working in a manufacturing environment would be useful but is not essential.
